Pharmacy has an ever-increasing part to play — in the wider healthcare team — as it develops community services beyond simply dispensing medicines. At the same time, pharmacists still have to run a business, and making sure their pharmacy is successful means working with technicians and assistants to grow the business while ensuring patient safety. One way of getting a helping hand with all this is by making the most of the extra services on offer from some generics manufacturers, which have realised that there are more ways to add value to pharmacy than simply providing good value medicines.
