Signs of convergence

ABOUT three years ago, having led the way in terms of the development of services, pharmacy in Scotland seemed to be on a trajectory different from the paths in other parts of Britain: Wales was not that far behind but England was definitely limping along in third place. Now, however, service development in the three countries seems to be converging. Although initiatives are far from identical, there does appear to be an increasing awareness by governments and by other health professionals that pharmacy has much to offer.
