Sunderland gets sciences complex

Pharmacy students at Sunderland University are to benefit from a new ￡8.5m sciences complex, which opened this week. The complex is expected to boost the university's contribution to the design of new drugs, especially in the areas of bacterial resistance, psoriasis, transplantation, cystinosis and cystic fibrosis.
