Increase collaboration from the ground up

I have been reading with interest the series of articles on pharmacy education and practice in Canada in Tomorrow's Pharmacist (www.tomorrowspharmacist.com) and I am glad that the authors' findings confirm my position on pharmacy education and practice in Britain and, at the same time, bring to light areas where British pharmacy can learn a thing or two from pharmacy education and practice in Canada. This includes the need to change the MPharm degree to PharmD, the need for all practising pharmacists to be prescribing routinely and the need to adopt advanced technologies in practice.
