The case for pharmacy

Evidence that pharmacy-based services can bring significant benefits to patients and therefore the NHS — as well as pharmacists themselves— is patchy. And as the NHS heads towards years of austerity it is becoming increasingly important that pharmacy is able to prove its worth, if it is going to compete with other providers for scarce resources.
