GPhC moves a step closer as draft orders approved by Privy Council

Establishment of the General Pharmaceutical Council came a step closer last week when the draft Pharmacy Order and the draft GPhC (Constitution) Order were approved at a meeting of the Privy Council. Chairman designate of the GPhC Bob Nicholls said: "I am delighted to learn that the Pharmacy Order was made by the Privy Council and we have cleared another milestone in the process toward taking on regulatory responsibilities for pharmacy later this year."
