Profits before patients

I concur with the points Harnek Chera makes (PJ, 20 March 2010, p286) and would like to add several of my own that highlight the unfairness of any direct-to-pharmacy distribution scheme. In particular, I can only draw on my own experiences with Alliance Healthcare, which I believe is a second-rate service that adds to our workloads and stresses and, for the record, I am only a customer of AAH.
