Contribution to the English Pharmacy Board

Graeme Stafford is to be admired for his initiative in setting up a petition calling for the decriniinalisation of dispensing errors. However, the successful implementation of one good idea in the past does not absolve him from his current responsibilities as an elected member of the English Pharmacy Board (PJ, 29 May 201C p533). Does Mr Stafford seriously expect us to believe that he has deliberately absented himself from board meetings in order to save the Royal Pharmaceutical Society money? I wonder how many of his supporters would have voted for him if diey had known that this was to be his policy, and why was it not stated in his election manifesto?
