Composition of the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee is to change from April 2010 to allow equal numbers of places for independent and multiple representatives. The number of independent contractors nominated by the National Pharmacy Association will be reduced from five to two and the number of independent contractors elected regionally will drop from 14 to 13. Multiple pharmacies will see the number of representatives increase from 11 to 15. Community Pharmacy Wales will continue to nominate one member to the PSNC.
