Completing the prescription process in a virtual world - EPS Release 2

On 29 July 2009, Liptrots pharmacy went live with Electronic Prescription Service Release 2 - the paper-free prescription service that promises to cut waiting times, allow patient choice and free pharmacists' time. Jim Liptrot, manager of Liptrot pharmacy, is pleased with progress so far. "Things are going well, but we are at the early stages of testing and have done about 30 prescriptions so far." And, fortunately, patients have been supportive and excited about being involved in a first-of-its-kind scheme.
