How to increase the number of pharmacist nominees

I can shed some light on the comments made in the Leading article (PJ 3/10 January 2009, p2) that refers to the lack of pharmacists in the recent New Year's Honours list. I understand that many employers and professional bodies set up committees specifically to nominate their employees or members to receive UK national honours.
