In Yorkshire and the Humber, we recently consulted on a five-year vision1 to support development of a regional workforce plan for pharmacy support staff. This involved a range of creative initiatives, including a workforce showcase event, in response to both national and local plans around the Pharmacy White Paper, the NHS next stage review and the NHS constitution. Our vision is split into six themes (see Panel).
