BNF 58, the latest version of the British National Formulary, is now available and contains updated information on the use of antiviral drugs for influenza in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. The new edition also contains updated guidance on the management of arrhythmias and asthma. For asthma, tables listing the steps for managing both chronic and acute asthma have been revised to match the British Guideline on the Management of Asthma.
