Details of a new chlamydia testing service were announced this week by the National Pharmacy Association in the-wake of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency's recent decision to switch the antibiotic azithromycin from POM to P status(PJ,09 August 2008,pl49).Implementation of the scheme will be staged,with the full service in place by October when the azithromycin tablets,Clamelle,become available.
