UPLIFT efficacy data published

摘要

Tiotropium does not reduce the rate of decline of lung function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease but secondary outcome data from the UPLIFT trial suggest that it does cut mortality, admission rates and the number of exacerbations compared with placebo plus usual care.
