On the internet,there are a great number of podcasts available that could be useful to pharmacists wanting to update their continuing professional development portfolios.From the comments I have seen in various pharmacy forums online,people are hazy about podcasts.They are audio files that can be downloaded onto hard drives and manipulated to play back at users'convenience on whatever device they have.The software required,iTunes,a free program available from www.apple.com,allows users to download podcasts to their hard drives.If they have an iPod,then these downloads can be transferred to the iPod and listened to later.
