Pfizer overhauls Lipitor packaging design to meet safety guidance

Pfizer has embarked on a long-term project to overhaul its UK packaging, beginning with its most used product, Lipitor. The redesign takes into account guidance from the National Patient Safety Agency as well as feedback from community pharmacists and patients, said Peter Smith, Pfizer's head of pharmacy.
