Access to medicines out of hours-the views of service users and carers

Patients and their carers have always struggled to achieve quick and easy access to the medicines they need when they develop unplanned,urgent or emergency needs.Moreover,there has been a similar but much more serious problem for patients who had chosen to die at home-struggling to access the drugs they need.All too often,the end result was a hospital admission,the very step they had tried to avoid.
