Misuse of alcohol is an area that community pharmacists could have greater involvement in,but there is currently little evidence on the impact of services of this nature or their acceptability to service users,a new Royal Pharmaceutical Society report indicates.The report-entitled"Community pharmacy and alcohol-misuse services:a review of policy and practice"-points out:"Whilst community pharmacies and pharmacists are gaining greater recognition as a source of information and services relating to health pro-motion,there has to date been no review of their involvement in alcohol misuse services."
