Government must be responsible for costs of demerger

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Treasurer has reminded us (PJ,11 August,pi54) that the "demerger" of the Society into a regulation authority and a professional body was "instigated by the Government".He says that the costs of the demerger is one reason for the proposed fee increase.
