No respect for technicians as a profession

I have sat back for some time and listened to pharmacists express resentment about their limited clinical role and technicians'extended role.At a recent conference,I listened to derogatory comments bouncing between GPs and pharmacists regarding technicians'extended role.The White Paper,as I see it,is out to protect the pharmacy profession,or rather the pharmacists'profession.
