Council decision on how to handle certain health-related cases

New procedures for the Society's handling of drink-drive convictions were agreed by the Council of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society at the March Council meeting.The Council also agreed that health-related cases that have been heard by the Statutory Committee should be reviewed to assess current risk.The Council made its decisions on the recommendation of the Law and Ethics Committee,which had considered the matters in the light of the Society's health jurisdiction under the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technician Order 2007.
