Pharmacy technicians' register reaches 3,000

More than 3,000 pharmacy technicians have now voluntarily registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.Maureen Wallace,of Gill Chemists in Southall,Middlesex,is the 3,000th pharmacy technician to join the register.Ms Wallace,who has been a pharmacy technician for 30 years,said: "I think registering as a pharmacy technician is a step in the right direction towards increased recognition for our profession and for the vital work we do."
