Arnica gel first product to be granted herbal registration

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has granted the UK's first product registration for a "traditional herbal medicine".Manufacturers wishing to register a product under the traditional herbal medicine scheme are required to submit a dossier to the MHRA showing that the necessary standards of quality,safety and patient information have been met.
