Highlights 2013

摘要

Earlier this year we asked readers to send us photographs that capture health stories in a compelling way for the Highlights 2013 competition. In this issue we publish eight winning images that in their different ways explore health through the lens, some of which will feature as cover images for The Lancet Global Health in 2014. Many of the photographs address aspects of health in low-income countries, ranging from child health in Zambia to blindness in Liberia.
