I would like to comment on Fiona Clark's excellent World Report (March 2, p 711)1 about the changes occurring in the Russian health-care system.Some of the report is anecdotal with no apparent way of assessing how the specific problems highlighted reflect the overall situation. Faults persist in the implementation of the reforms, but these should be putin perspective.
