The recently published mental health strategy implementation framework described in your Aug 4 Editorial (P448) needs to be understood within the wider context of recent changes to the UK's National Health Service (NHS). We note your concern thatthe framework does not "provide directions for clinicians and commissioners". However, the landscape of the NHS has changed.
