Climate change and the RCPCH.

In your otherwise excellent Editorial on climate change and health (May 16, p 1659)1 you err in saying that the Royal College of Physicians has given a "uniquely" strong professional lead. The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) has also been in the forefront, first by committing itself to reducing its carbon dioxide output by 10% every year, as of 2007, and second by holding a joint meeting with the BA/IJ and Faculty of Public Health in 2008 on tackling climate change within the UK National Health Service.
