With the holidays around the comer, regional spot markets are experiencing a seasonal lull. The lack of activity in both Europe and North America is being compounded by the fact that buyers and sellers are absent from the market as they are understood to be in the midst of negotiating long-term contracts for 2011. This, however, has not affected prices significantly which remain relatively stable. Chinese prices on the other hand are still falling on the back of continued weak demand and ample supply.
