Editorial Comment: The data from this pooled analysis of 5 studies demonstrate that during the first 2 weeks of treatment 100 mg sildenafil is more likely to achieve a greater improvement in erectile function than the 50 mg dose. This finding suggests that the patient should be moved to the 100 mg dose of sildenafil early in treatment if 50 mg does not produce the desired improvement in erectile function.
