摘要

Cotton Gun is a low cost stem applicator designed and developed by Scientists of DAATT Centre, Kakinada of A.N.G.R. Agricultural University, A.P. It can be used to apply the mixture of monocrotophos and water( 1:4) at 30 & 45 DAS and imidacloprid andwater (1:20) at 60DAS for the management of early season sucking pests in cotton. The advantages of using cotton gun are viz, it reduces quantum of pesticides used and number of sprayings, minimizes the drudgery associated with old method of stem application, enhances ecological services provided by the natural enemies, best suits to IPM modules.
