Imported prices for chrome ore have continued to fall in China. In December, quotes for Turkish lumpy ore have fallen by around 35 dollars/t compared with last month to average 255 dollars/t cif, while prices for South African ore have fallen by around 12 dollars/t to average 200 dollars/t on the same basis, although it should be noted that quotes of 195 dollars/t have also been reported.
