The slide in moly prices has halted. A tentative return by Chinese buyers, a flicker of interest from Western consumers and tighter availability of ferromoly have conspired to stop the rot and nudge terms a dollar or two higher in most markets. Is this a real turning of the tide or just a temporary respite for beleaguered producers and traders, most of whom remain distinctly unsure of direction?
