Bridging the future supply gap: Key barriers to copper mines projects

Since 2011, we have seen a dramatic contraction in the long term pipeline of copper mine projects aroundthe world as a result of delays, cancellations and downscaling. In this section, we look at the underlyingreasons behind these cutbacks. More specifically, CRU has identified the 5 key barriers which in ourview will stunt the development of the pipeline of copper mine projects in the coming years.
