China data lifts sentiment and price

The LME 3-month copper price sank to a low of $4,631/t on Thursday April 7th, the day afterthe end of the 2016 CESCO Week. However, the release of consensus-beating headlinemacroeconomic data for the month of March in China proved to be a turning point, with thecopper price heading back to and reaching $5,000/t towards the end of the third week of themonth.
