At an interactive session with key policy makers organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CM) in Mumbai, Mr C Padmanabhan, executive director, RBI, said that, "RBI is actively working to limit the volatility in the Forex market. Since, the global economy is going through turbulent times, it is difficult to entirely eliminate these bouts of volatility in forex. Exporters have to learn to live with it and adopt a prudent policy to hedge their forex."
