New Marzoli Combing Section: A qualitative leap of yarn

The target of the cotton combing action is to select the fibres according to their length, eliminating the shortest, and to direct the same towards one direction only, which is the same of the sliver (parallelisation). While removing the short fibres, also the neps, the pepper trash and all the others impurity still in the card sliver are wasted. With a sliver made of parallel fibres without the shortest one, it is possible to achieve yarn with characteristics of strength, evenness, uniformity, cleanness, hairiness and softness much more superior than a carded yarn. As a matter of fact the combed yarn allows the producers to achieve high quality fabrics either for apparel and for interior decoration.
