Global production of spunlaced nonwovens grew an average of 9.5% for the past five years to a total of 8,19,000 tons in 2011, according to a recently released report - "Global Spunlaced Technology Markets and Trends - 2011 - 2016" - from INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry.The report projects that the spunlaced market, whose largest markets are NAFTA (Canada, Mexico and the United States), Europe and China, will continue to grow at an average rate of 8.2% a year through 2016.
