Rieter participated at the India International Textile-Machinery Exhibition (INDIA-ITME 2008) at booth A 104, in Hall 2 lower level. On the stand, the world champions were presented: E 76 Comber with the highest productivity, C 60 Card with the highest production performance and the longest compact spinning machine in the world, K 452 with 1632 spindles. With the debut of the new RSB-D 221 double-head drawframe, a new product, which Rieter launched for the Indian market from Rieter's manufacturing facilities at Pune.
