摘要

Study was conducted to optimize the dose of GA_3 and age of nursery for seed production of experimental rice hybrid combination (PMS17A/R 10). Thirty and forty days old nurseries were used. Application of GA_3 significantly improved plant height, panicle exsertion, first internode length, per cent seed set on A line and hybrid seed yield. Highest per cent seed set on A line and hybrid seed yield were obtained with GA_3 dose of 120g/ha. Non-significant differences for most of the traits were observedwhen 30 or 40 days old nursery was transplanted. Therefore, 30 to 40 days old nursery in combination with 120g/ha GA_3, application could be used to get high hybrid seed yield.
