Roche Applied Science has launched the latest updateto the Genome Sequencer FLX System, the new GS FLXTitanium Library Paired End Adaptors for improved wholegenome de novo sequencing. Widely recognized as theplatform of choice for de novo sequencing applications,as a result of the system's long shotgun reads, the addi-tion of 3 kb, 8 kb and 20 kb span paired end libraries nowfacilitates assembly of increasingly complex genomes. Theimproved sequencing solution offers biologists more com-plete genome coverage, assembly into fewer, larger scaf-folds and the ability to explore the full range of geneticvariation.
