CCS will create huge economic benefits

THE national economic benefits of CCS could reach ￡2-4bn (US$3.3-6.5bn) annually by 2030, according to a new report. The Economic Benefits of CCS in the UK was published jointly by the Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA) and the Trades Union Congress (TUC) and says CCS will create jobs and prove critical to meeting national emissions reduction targets.
