ICHEME director of qualifications and international development Neil Atkinson has met His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, United Arab Emirates minister of higher education and scientific research. The ministry for higher education and scientific research has various functions, including setting policies for higher education and scientific research, licensing and accrediting higher education institutions, setting student admission policies and ensuring research contributes to community development.
