Huperminone A, a novel C_(16)N-type Lycopodium alkaloid from Huperzia phlegmaria

摘要

A novel C_(16)N-type lycopodium alkaloid consisting of a decahydroquinoline and a cyclohexanone, hupe-rminone A (1), was isolated from the club moss of Huperzia phlegmaria, and the structure and relative stereochemistry were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data. This unique C_(16)N-type skeleton lacking in a nitrogen atom may be generated from C_(16)N2-type phlegmarane skeleton.
