摘要

A ratiometric fluorescence sensing ensemble, Cd~(2+)-ACAQ, was developed and exploited for the selective detection of polyphasphates in 8:2 buffed HEPES/MeOH solutions. The detection of polyphosphorylated.species, such as pyrophosphate ion (P2O_7~(4_), PP_i) and nucleoside polyphosphates (NPPs), is of much current interest to both chemists and biologists. These species play a key role in a wide range of critical biological processes ranging from information processing to energy storage and transduction in organisms. For example, it is well known that adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is a universal energy source for various cellular functions in all living systems. PP_i is the product of ATP hydrolysis under cellular conditions, which is at the heart of important biochemical pathways such as DNA polymerization and synthesis of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (AMP) catalyzed by DNA polymerase and adenylate cyclase, respectively.
