Prices begin to stabilise as steel producers resist further price falls

Prices have stabilised over the past month. This has in part been due to multiple trade casesmitigating China's influence in export markets and also partly due to the reluctance of mills toreduce current price levels, which are already leaving them as loss-making in manyinstances.
