Dip and rally pattern continues

Zinc's price has dipped and rallied four times since coming off its 2014 high above $2,400/t at the end of July. Each time the dip has found its bottom at a lower level and, when commodities came under pressure in mid-October as fears over global growth intensified, zinc's 3-month price fell to its lowest level for four months, closing just above $2,200/t.
