UK construction boom prompts jobs bonanza

A resurgence of growth is set to create more than 200,000 construction jobs in the UK by 2019 and expand the sector by up to 2.9% on average, year-on-year, according to new research released by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). Its annual Construction Skills Network (CSN) report predicts the annual demand for workers will increase to 44,690.
