Akro-Plastic PA compounds UL-certified for electrical and electronics applications

PA 6 and PA 6.6 compounds from Akro-Plastic are now listed according to Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standards. This applies both to unreinforced grades and to those reinforced with up to 60% glass fibre. Niederzissen, Germany-based Akro-Plastic finds that its customers are increasingly exporting their components and systems to countries where UL listings are required. The company also wants to increase the range of applications for its products in the household appliance, construction, electrical and electronics industries.
