摘要

The condition of an operating Cooling Tower's reinforced concrete structural elements always seem to be a mystery until it's brought down, cleaned and then closely examined by professionals with specific evaluative expertise. Whether Natural or Mechanical Draft in function, Cooling Tower assets are typically the last equipment to be brought down during a short-duration outage and then the first equipment brought up during re-commissioning. To address this "Catch-22" in understanding the condition of these critical assets, an innovative Condition Assessment approach has been developed.
